Over the course of the last\u00a0week, most of the family (everyone except Jacob, I think) got a chance to see the extravagantly sumptuous new Kenneth Branagh movie, Cinderella, and by now, you have probably heard or read many glowing reviews. I am going to be brief in my words, but today’s pocketses contain a few choice reviews that examine it’s virtues in more detail.<\/p>\n

What I want to say is that it is\u00a0Beautiful<\/em>. My eyes were filled up to the brim and overflowing with the beauty, from the smallest details to the grandest vistas. I want to say that it is\u00a0Good<\/em>. That is, that Goodness really triumphs in this story – not only because there is a happy ending, but in the darkest of moments, it is her charity, her courage to be kind,\u00a0that provides the light for our heroine. And it is\u00a0True<\/em>. Fairy Tales, when they are told the right way, tell us something about Truth, and this time, they got it right.<\/p>\n

So without further ado, here are the reviews that I loved about this movie that I loved, beginning with my favorite (and oh, it was hard to choose a favorite!) – from my teenage daughter, Geneva.<\/p>\n
