Last week a very momentous milestone was reached in the Heidmann family. \u00a0Megan Olivia reached voting age!<\/p>\n

In lieu of a party on her actual birthday, Paul took the family out for dinner to Westgate Which Wich<\/strong><\/em><\/a> (which, if you haven’t been there, has DA BEST sandwiches EVAHH!).<\/p>\n

The real party, however, came on Friday. \u00a0Megan chose a small handful of friends to invite for an afternoon-evening party, and with some assistance from her sisters, prepared the menu:<\/p>\n

\nPepperoni Crescent Rolls, with Marinara or Ranch for dipping<\/span><\/em><\/strong>
\nSushi and Shrimp Cocktail<\/span><\/em><\/strong>
\nTortilla Chips, with Honey Chipotle, Verde, and Lime Garlic Salsas, plus Blue Cheese Dip for good measure<\/span><\/em><\/strong>
\nTaco Salad\u00a0Bar<\/span><\/em><\/strong>
\nBubbly Punch<\/span><\/em><\/strong>
\nCookie Dough Ice Cream with Caramel and Chocolate Syrups for topping<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

You may note that there was no cake on her menu. Her choice, she preferred ice cream for dessert. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

The girls who came for the party arrived around 2 pm, and there were games around the dining room table, and laughter and fun, and later the one boy who could make it arrived and there was more laughter and fun. (I got to chat with his mom, who came along as they were on their way to a theatrical event after stopping at the party, and it was great to get to know another MoezArt mom!)<\/p>\n
